Here are some dates for our big events, and we hang out every other Sunday!
Join us. All youth are welcome.
Queer Prom May 20, 8-11pm at 304 E. Trinity Ave. Durham
Banquet and Gaiety May 27, 12-3pm at the Scrap Exchange 2050 Chapel Hill Rd. Durham
Insideout Hangout is every other Sunday from 4-6pm in Durham. Come hang out and meet other youth! Upsidedown, for youth 13 and younger, meets on the same days from 2-4pm. Here are the dates for Upsidedown and Hangout:
We would love to have you at any of our events. It’s not necessary for you to be part of a GSA/QSA or have experience or anything of that sort. If transportation is a difficulty, email us at insideoutamy[@]gmail.com and we can try to get you a ride! Check out the calendar below and visit us. Are you a GSA/QSA or other youth-centered organization/group?
Check out our events or register your group here. Then we’ll contact you to set up a date and time for us to come visit you, and you can become a part of iNSIDEoUT!

Outside In 180
Join our adult board, responsible for fundraising and policy development.
Join our fundraising team to help us articulate and implement our fundraising goals for the year, including organizing two fundraisers.
Help drive youth to and from events.
Work directly with young people and our youth board on a long-term basis.
Volunteer for a one-time event such as tabling at Pride or our Adult Ally Brunch, or chaperoning Queer Prom.
Volunteer behind the scenes to help with calling other allies, writing thank you notes, maintaining our databases and more!
Provide professional support according to your skills and expertise. Needed skills include: website and database development, mental health support, financial assistance, legal advice, graphic design, etc.
